Skills and Experience

  • Proven work experience as a social media coordinator for medium to large social accounts (>10,000 fans/followers)
  • Expertise in multiple social media platforms, with a focus on writing, communication, and decision-making skills
  • In-depth knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
  • Eye for detail and an understanding of the organization’s brand, voice, and objectives with online marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • Ability to gasp future trends in digital technologies and act proactively
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Multitasking and analytical skills
  • All employees are to exhibit spiritual maturity working as part of the In Touch Ministries team
  • Bachelor’s degree (Marketing, New Media, or other relevant field)

Duties and Responsibilities

The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for In Touch Ministries’ brand presence on social networks, which includes the following:

  • Research audience and discover current trends
  • Schedule and publish recurring and ad hoc content
  • Develop monthly content calendar with other departments to provide engaging content that enhances the organization brand, voice, and strategic objectives
  • Measure web traffic and monitor SEO
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in all social platforms ensuring maximum effectiveness
  • Train co-workers to use social media in a cohesive and beneficial way
  • Facilitate online conversations with ministry partners
  • Report on online reviews and feedback from customers and fans
  • Oversee social media accounts’ layout
  • Suggest data-driven ways to attract prospective partners
  • Increase web traffic and engagement metrics aligned with broader strategies
