Making Prayer A Priority

For everything, a season, and in everything, prayer.

There’s never a bad time to take our cares to God. No matter where we are in our spiritual walk—whether in a season of distressing hardship or joyful celebration— “in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving [we are to let our] requests be made known to God” (Phil. 4:6). Our heavenly Father is always ready, willing, and waiting for us to reach out to Him, because not only does He listen, but He also wants to speak to us as well.

Dr. Stanley has said that his relationship with God is what gives him the most joy in life. You, too, can experience that kind of meaningful connection with your heavenly Father. To encourage you in developing a daily habit of prayer, we’ve compiled this booklet full of Dr. Stanley’s teachings on the subject. We pray it will help you lean on God in every season of life and that you will receive the blessings of communing daily with your heavenly Father.
